What you'll be doing:
Technical support to the wastewater operations team, including EICA and process troubleshooting.
Provide on-site technical support to the site engineering field staff on multi-discipline capital and operational maintenance tasks.
Technical support to water projects and the delivery of technical projects.
Ensure all project delivery technical information and reports are collated and submitted to O&M teams.
Knowledge of PLCs, HMI, SCADA, Telemetry and instruments to assist with system design, interrogation and troubleshooting.
Assist in fault finding and reverse engineering of on-site MEICA requirements in support of ongoing operations.
Conduct site surveys to collate field data to develop drawings, layouts and designs.
Oversee and sign off FATs and SATs, and commissioning processes.
Responsible for maintaining the highest level of on-site health and safety standards for yourself and the other members of the field teams.
Responsible for the interface between process engineers, operational technicians, clients and suppliers.
Deliver training of personnel both on-site and in-house.v
What we're looking for:
Recognised engineering qualifications, with relevant MEICA experience and formal training.
In-depth knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems and understanding of process impacts.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Commercial awareness, and proven track record of managing contractors/subcontractors.
Knowledge of the water and wastewater treatment industry.
A good working knowledge of all legislative, and legal requirements regarding Health and Safety.
Experience in automation, instrumentation and drive networks, e.g. Modbus serial, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, Modbus/TCP, Allen-Bradley PLCs, Schneider Electric SCADA system, Rockwell (Desirable).
Commissioning engineer experience (Desirable).
A full driving licence is required.
