Job Purpose
The role will support the Head of FM in the delivery of a high-quality facilities management service in accordance with the Corporate, Directorate and Service Plan, supporting the delivery of both hard and soft facilities management services to the highest standards. To provide building surveying services to support the corporate capital programme, manage reactive repairs, and assist with overseeing the procurement and management of all FM related contracts and contribute to the formation and development of the strategic service plan.

1. Knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory guidance with regards to the Service.

3. Relevant professional qualification IWFM.
4. Relevant membership of professional body IWFM.
Experience – essential
1. Awareness of the political environment and have the credibility to work effectively with Elected Members.
2. An experienced Chartered Building Surveyor with MRICS/FRICS registration and 10 or more years relevant Commercial Property Experience.
3. Proven track record of delivery.
4. Track record of operating within a management team and contributing towards organisational improvement.
5. Experience of, and commitment to, working in partnership with external agencies.
6. Proven track record of balancing strategic and operational needs.
