WB Power Services is currently recruiting for a Diesel Workshop Engineer to join our team at our Head Office in Heanor, Derbyshire. This role is an exciting opportunity to become part of a rapidly growing business. We’re seeking a driven and motivated Diesel Workshop Engineer to support our team and help us maintain our high standards during this period of expansion.

The Role:
* Service, repair, and maintain diesel generators and components
* Strip down and rebuild diesel engines and generator parts
* Diagnose and rectify faults
* Provide support to colleagues on the road when required (company vehicle provided)
* Troubleshoot generator issues
* Follow company Health & Safety, environmental, and quality management systems
* Keep accurate records using our bespoke management system
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure jobs are on time and within budget
The Person:
* Experience with diesel generators or HGV servicing
* Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or 5 years' relevant experience with generators from 20kVA upwards
* Workshop engineering experience is desirable
* Familiarity with electronics and mechanical components, including engines and alternators
* Ability to understand and complete risk assessments
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
* A valid UK driving licence is advantageous

* £32,000 - £41,000+ (DOE)
