Role Overview:
As IT Sales Support, you will be responsible for providing essential support to the sales team, ensuring smooth customer interactions, efficient sales processes, and accurate order management. This position requires strong communication, organisational skills, and a good understanding of IT solutions to assist in delivering high-quality service to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Administration: Assist the sales team in managing customer accounts, processing quotes, and ensuring accurate documentation.
* Order Processing: Handle order entry, tracking, and coordination with vendors and internal operations teams to ensure timely delivery.
* Customer Support: Act as a key point of contact for customer inquiries, providing information on products, pricing, and order status.
* Proposal Preparation: Assist in preparing sales proposals, bids, and presentations in collaboration with the sales team.
* CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and sales records in the CRM system.
* Vendor Liaison: Communicate with IT vendors and suppliers to check product availability, pricing, and lead times.
* Reporting & Analytics: Generate sales reports, track performance metrics, and support sales forecasting activities.
* Sales Coordination: Work closely with account managers and other departments to ensure seamless execution of customer orders and contracts.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
* A-Level or equivalent qualification; a degree in business, IT, or a related field is advantageous.
* Previous experience in a sales support, sales coordination, or administrative role, preferably in the IT industry.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent).
* Understanding of IT solutions, hardware, and software is desirable but not essential.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to customer service.
