Job Description
This is an amazing opportunity to join Williams Racing F1 team at an incredibly exciting time. Our Filmmaker will excel in video and film production and become an integral part of our growing in-house content team. This talented individual will take concepts from idea to delivery, working closely with our Creative Producers.
This role presents the opportunity to collaborate and take full control of how Williams portrays itself as one of the most iconic sporting teams in the world, solo-shooting with the drivers on one weekend, to operating as a lead Director/DP in larger shoot crew setups on another. You will have previous experience delivering visuals with top-tier class and finishing and will be comfortable with filmmaking language when discussing shot composition, lighting techniques and production approaches with a broad admiration for work in advertising, branded content, documentary and CGI worlds.
This role will require you to be based onsite between our London and Grove locations 5 days a week and will require frequent travel on race weekends.

Main Duties:
* Deliver best in class video content in a competitive F1 environment.
* Confidently operate around key high-profile talent and a fast-moving sport both abroad and in the UK.
* Contribute to video ideation and help guide on best use of various platforms.
* Work closely and effectively with a wider internal content team including social media managers, creative producers, production managers, editors, motion graphics artists and more.
* Help manage internal camera/production equipment and guide on any new technologies keeping Williams at the forefront of content trends and capabilities.
* Work alongside the team’s retained creators, including but not limited to; car launches, partner activations and events.
* Implementation of a consistent style and tone of voice across all video content produced by Williams, in conjunction with the brand teams, social media team and more, to align with the wider marketing strategy.
* Drive content production both on race weekends throughout the F1 calendar and back in the UK at our HQ in Grove.
* Challenge and seek to continuously improve processes, procedures and protocols related to video and content production at Williams.
* Understand and handle the importance of representing Williams and most importantly our content team as a positive, solution-based, and collaborative presence within paddock and at Grove.
Qualifications
* At least three years of industry experience delivering best in class film/video content, ideally in a sporting industry if not motorsports/F1 itself.
* Clear capabilities across ideation, scriptwriting, directing, shooting and postproduction.
* A strong storyteller whilst being able to turn their creative hand to anything from TVC-style high end visuals to handheld BTS documentary and disruptive social video .
* Complete understanding of software’s such as Adobe Premier, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve and best practices.
* Complete understanding of camera systems and technology and best practices.
* Comfortability communicating with and directing top-tier drivers and high profile management, instilling confidence and reliability in the filmmaking process.
* Be ambitiously driven to take creativity at Williams to new successes.
* Enjoys working both autonomously and in a team.
* Experience working under pressure and clear ability to take ownership of projects and processes independently when needed.
* Experience working with multiple stakeholders across different departments in a dynamic, fast-paced environment .
