The successful applicant will be working with Operations Management to review efficiencies and eliminate waste to deliver high quality products to clearly defined standards. You would be responsible for designing, implementing and improving production and operational process and practices. Supporting the tendering process for new equipment and working on projects to contribute to safety, quality improvements and reducing operating costs. You will support and lead continuous improvement, problem solving and process improvement activities and implement lean manufacturing and optimise operational efficiencies. Full details of the role are available in the attached job description. About you To be successful in this role you ideally have: Understands manufacturing processes. For example, cellular manufacturing and linear manufacturing. Strong problem-solving skills, preferably with a Lean approach. Ability to present data effectively. Engineering experience particularly in automation and mechanical engineering. Understanding of production costs/costing to include waste, downtime, scrap and rework.
