Project Manager - Commissioning An exciting opportunity has become available to work within the New Models of Care team, focussing on the recommissioning of care at home, care homes and extra care housing. The position is 37 hours per week, fixed term contract for 12 months, hybrid working from home and from Macclesfield Town Hall. About the role We are looking for an experienced project manager that has a proven track record of commissioning services, with a key focus on outcomes, driving prevention, early intervention and responding to the needs, based upon detailed and extensive needs analysis, market research, and evidence bases. The post holder will be required to build strong Provider relationships, ensuring contracts deliver high quality services and support, whilst providing best value for money. You will work in positive partnership with the Integrated Care Board (ICB), NHS Provider Trusts and wider health and social care partners, including housing, business, the Voluntary Community Faith and Social Enterprise Sector (VCFSE). This includes detailed financial models for the potential/proposed costs of commissioned services, in response to all procurement and short/medium/long-term re/commissioning activity. This will inform service level decisions on future delivery models/strategies and the decisions on the award, nature, scope and scale of tender exercises and contractual changes etc. You will understand the current and future/required Cheshire East marketplace (regarding population of needs, partners and demands for services) and of wider market impact areas on Council, People and Providers that may impact on current and future commissioned services. A bout you You will have: Proven ability to design, manage, lead and deliver commissioning plans across relevant health and/or social care systems Market Monitoring/ Oversight/Shaping/ Position/Mobilisation models of working, best practice and current research/strategies. Excellent knowledge of Cheshire East Market Place/ Third Sector / Community and key skills in consultation with vast people groups. Experience of modelling and monitoring budgets/ spend against activity and reporting. Knowledge in relevant Health and Social care funding arrangements and income routes, including national picture regarding social care and health funding challenges.
