We are looking for a talented videographer to help create the content and campaigns that save lives by securing RNLI support, sharing safety advice and raising awareness. The role is based in the RNLI Creative Services Team and would involve producing video for social media campaigns, TV advertising, web pages, media broadcast, internal communications and more. There are two key parts to the role: capturing high-quality footage, and editing video. You’ll be confident filming in a range of environments using a variety of techniques and equipment (including aerial and underwater filming). Shoots could take place at lifeboat stations, lifeguard units and other locations around the UK and Ireland – or even overseas - so you'll be willing to travel. It also means that some flexibility over working patterns is required, as shoots can be outside of standard office hours. A current, valid driving licence is essential. Experience and expertise in using industry-standard video editing applications is also essential – ideally Adobe Premiere and After-Effects. You’ll know how to turn raw footage into a slick edit that is on-brief and on-time. It is vital that you hit the ground running – as well as well-honed pre-production, filming and editing skills, you’ll need excellent organisational, communication and analytical skills. You’ll be working in a small team, as well as occasionally training and supporting staff and volunteers in camera operation and output. This post requires a valid driving licence. Diversity at the RNLI Our staff and volunteers have been saving lives at sea without prejudice for 200 years. We respect and value diversity of background, skills and perspectives within our teams, and consider it essential to help us deliver a world-class lifesaving service. We are an inclusive organisation and welcome applications from everyone. In addition to having the skills needed for the role, we also look for applicants who share our commitment to living our RNLI values (trustworthy, courageous, selfless, and dependable), and helping us work towards Our Vision: To save Every One.
