Are you an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager with a passion for supporting diverse communities? International Students House (ISH) is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our sites, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our students from across the globe. Key Responsibilities: Manage the upkeep and maintenance of the building, ensuring all facilities are in excellent working condition. Lead a team of maintenance staff, contractors, and service providers. Oversee health, safety, and compliance across the site. Ensure the building meets the needs of international students, offering a home away from home. Monitor and manage budgets for repairs, maintenance, and facilities-related projects. Coordinate emergency maintenance, as needed, and provide rapid resolutions. Skills & Experience: Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Facilities Manager, with a background in building maintenance, health & safety, and project management. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a technical qualification and the ability to support and mentor teams in a hands-on role. Experience in strategic property management, including overseeing the maintenance and expansion of buildings, particularly the management of a site and the expansion to a new building. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations. Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
