We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Interim Registered Children's Manager to step into a vital leadership role within a children's care setting.
This is an excellent opportunity to lead and support a team committed to providing high-quality care to young people.
The initial contract is for 3 months and the role is based in Manchester.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage a team of care professionals, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for children and young people.
2. Ensure compliance with Ofsted and other regulatory requirements, including maintaining and updating care plans.
3. Support and mentor staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
4. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the setting, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently.
5. Work closely with families, external professionals, and social workers to ensure the best outcomes for children in your care.
6. Ensure that all safeguarding and health & safety procedures are in place and adhered to.
What We're Looking For:
1. Registered Children's Manager with a strong background in children's residential care settings.
2. A proven leader with experience managing teams, ideally with a background in managing children's homes or care facilities.
3. A deep understanding of safeguarding and Ofsted regulations, with the ability to lead a team through inspections and audits.
4. Compassionate, resilient, and approachable, with a passion for improving the lives of vulnerable children and young people.
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, staff, and external agencies.
