This is an exciting opportunity to join a creative healthcare advertising agency focussed on delivering evidence-based, sustained behavioural change! The Senior Account Director acts as a brand advocate, managing multiple accounts and leading account teams to ensure the success of client partnerships. This role involves providing strategic guidance, fostering team development, and identifying opportunities for business growth within current accounts. Equally important is the responsibility to drive team performance and deliver impactful results for both the agency and its clients

Role & Responsibilities:
* Acquire in-depth knowledge of the category markets relevant to assigned brands
* Lead the strategic development process, ensuring alignment between issues, strategies, and tactics
* Identify and guide the creation of meaningful market research to inform strategic decisions
* Provide clients with consistent strategic insights and problem-solving solutions
* Stay informed about market trends and emerging developments in the category, such as new drugs or innovations
* Ensure all agency efforts and creative campaigns align with the brand’s strategic objectives
* Challenge client directions, strategies, and programs that deviate from brand positioning or long-term vision
* Identify and implement brand-building opportunities while addressing challenges
* Act as the brand champion across all agency teams, ensuring unity in brand representation
* Identify and capitalise on growth opportunities within accounts and projects
* Play a leadership role in developing and driving organic growth plans
* Contribute to new business efforts, including prospecting, pitching, and converting opportunities
* Exhibit entrepreneurial initiative, focusing on behaviours and strategies that drive growth
* Encourage the development of innovative, breakthrough creative solutions
* Demonstrate expertise in the agency branding process and contribute to team knowledge-building
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels
* Identify and cultivate new business opportunities
* Oversee account management and ensure teams meet client expectations
* Develop and mentor account team members, fostering career growth
* Advocate for team development while delivering consistent feedback and guidance
* Deliver accurate financial forecasts and monitor account performance to maximise income generation
* Manage budgets, negotiate effectively, and ensure financial control of client work
* Establish and maintain robust client relationships across all disciplines
* Demonstrate expertise in brand positioning, strategy, and long-term vision
* Successfully develop and lead account teams, ensuring high performance
* Provide clear, constructive feedback to improve team and creative outputs
* Generate measurable results through effective communication and leadership
Requirements:
* Degree (science, preferably life science)
* High level of drive, motivation, and initiative
* Ability to motivate, lead by example, train, mentor, develop and share best practice
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Expert presentation skills
* Ability to problem-solve effectively and make decisions
* Awareness of industry guidelines and best practice and their application
* Experience working in a similar Healthcare Advertising agency
