We’re looking for a passionate, energetic, and experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our team. As part of our PreSchool you’ll play a critical role in delivering high-quality childcare and early education, supporting the development of children in their earliest stages.
Role Summary:
The Level 3 Early Years Practitioner will be responsible for creating and implementing a stimulating learning environment where children can develop social, emotional, and educational skills through play and structured activities. You will work as part of a team to deliver exceptional early years education, ensuring that every child feels safe, valued, and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
* Childcare & Learning: Plan and deliver a broad curriculum to meet the individual needs of each child, encouraging active learning and development through play and creative activities.
* Child Development: Observe and assess each child’s progress, keeping accurate records and identifying specific needs to tailor learning approaches.
* Safety & Wellbeing: Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment. Understand and apply safeguarding practices to protect the welfare of all children.
* Partnership with Families: Communicate effectively with parents/carers, providing regular updates on their child’s development and creating a positive, collaborative relationship.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with other practitioners to ensure a consistent, high-standard approach to learning and care across the nursery.
* Regulatory Compliance: Follow policies, procedures, and legislative requirements in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, ensuring the highest standards of care and education.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Level 3 Early Years Qualification: Essential for this role.
* Experience: Ideally 1-2 years of experience in an early years setting, preferably with experience in nursery or pre-school environments.
* Knowledge of EYFS: Deep understanding of the EYFS framework, child safeguarding, and welfare regulations.
* Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Passion for Child Development: A nurturing and enthusiastic personality with a genuine love for working with children.
* Organizational Skills: Proactive and well-organized, capable of planning and managing multiple activities and responsibilities.
