Job summary Due to the imminent take over of a neighboring GP Practice, the Stewart Medical Centre are looking to welcome Practice Nurses / Nurse Practitioners or ANPs to our existing nursing team Main duties of the job We are looking for nurses to work alongside our existing clinical team to offer same day, acute care to our growing patient population via a combination of telephone triage and Face to Face consultations. We are also seeking nurses to offer long term condition reviews, vaccinations/ immunisations, wound care, cervical smears and other Primary Care nursing duties. About us The Stewart Medical Centre is the largest GP Practice in the High Peak with a list size of 11,250 The imminent take over of another GP Practice in Buxton will further increase this to over 16,500 patient and we are looking to increase our clinical capacity to effectively manage the increased demand.
