An independent, dual-site veterinary practice in East Yorkshire is offering an exciting opportunity for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team.
The practice operates across two fully equipped, closely located clinics, providing a varied and stimulating workload without the stress of being sent to under-resourced branches. Each vet is scheduled to work at a specific clinic each day, allowing for a predictable routine with no last-minute changes. A driving license may be beneficial for ease of travel between sites, but both clinics offer a welcoming, team-oriented environment.
The practice is well-equipped and offers a comprehensive range of veterinary services, including radiography, digital X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, in-house laboratory testing, blood pressure monitoring, and anaesthetic monitoring, among many others. In addition to its already extensive capabilities, the practice is currently undergoing renovations to introduce a brand-new X-ray suite and expand its clinical space, further enhancing the quality of care provided to patients.
The successful candidate will join a highly skilled team of experienced vets, nurses, and support staff, with varied interests spanning small animal surgery, medicine, acupuncture, and exotics. The practice prioritises professional development, making it an ideal setting for those looking to enhance their skills, whether they are new graduates or seasoned professionals.
This role also presents a unique opportunity for individuals with an interest in exotic animals. The team is eager to support anyone wishing to build an exotics caseload, providing full backing and guidance to nurture this specialty.
