Finance Assistant Manchester City Centre £25k - £26k I’m supporting a fantastic business based in the city centre of Manchester looking for a Finance Assistant to join their Finance Team. This is a permanent full-time role offering a day a week WFH and fantastic benefits such as: Company Pension Company Bonus Scheme Cycle to Work Scheme Employee Discounts Health & Wellbeing Programme Life Assurance Responsibilities in the role: Financial Transaction Processing: Assist in processing invoices, purchase orders, and payments. Maintain records of financial transactions in the company’s system. Financial Reporting Support: Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports. Processing of leasing proposals and submissions for funder approval. Processing of leasing documents into fund flow documents. Data Management: Maintain and update financial databases and records. Ensure proper filing and organisation of financial documents. Verify the accuracy of financial data entered into the accounting system. Support in Auditing: Assist with external audits by providing necessary documentation. Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations. Vendor and Client Relations: Liaise with vendors and clients for payment issues, discrepancies, or contract-related queries. Assist in reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). Previous experience in finance operations. Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Xero, Microsoft Excel, etc.). Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
