About the Role
This is specialist role focused on revenue accounting, within the housing sector. Would suit an individual who has expertise in this area and is seeking a good work / life balance. Duties in the role to include :
* Business partnering with non-finance stakeholders
* Preparation and monitoring of monthly budget monitoring reports
* Provide financial advice, produce financial and management reports
* Completion of grant claims and statistical returns
* Providing financial advice and support in addition to owning ad-hoc projects
* Authorise reports for financial implications
* Opportunity to take ownership of the revenue accounting aspects of the finance team
Qualifications
Prior experience of Housing Revenue, ideally gained in a local government or housing provider organisation. Ideally fully CCAB qualified, applications also welcomed from qualified by experience candidates, with housing revenue experience. There is a good element of business partnering in this role, so suitable applicants will enjoy building internal relationships, with non-finance staff and leadership teams.
Pay range and compensation package
Salary band £42-48k. Excellent additional benefits with a good holiday entitlement and pension contribution on top of salary. High element of home working available, expectation of approx 2 to 4 days a month in office, once established in role. Modern and easily accessible offices to work from, when required.
