Project Manager - Store Design Visual Merchandising

Description
Working collaboratively with the Global SDVM Director & Project Manager plus the senior UK VM Manager, the Project Manager will support the UK team across all store refits and new store opening and be accountable for CPA, tender support, retailer approval and design amends with external agency plus budget.
Key Responsibilities
* Create and own the SDVM CPA by creating a detailed CPA for each refit / new opening, ensuring projects are on track and all stages are accounted for, ability to give in depth project updates and manage expectations plus escalate risks when necessary (i.e installation deadline, material order delays, supplier’s capacity, etc…)
* Independent management with the external agency of the creative process to ensure we deliver technical drawings, 3D on time and on budget.
* Be the point of contact for all retailers
* Manage the process from end to end: from sending design proposal to feedback & approval from stakeholders.
* Ensure retailers store design points are captured and communicated efficiently in granular details to SDVM teams with caveat V our brand equity and commercial negotiations.
* Responsible to save and files all documents that are relevant for future refurb, refurb on server (design tech.pack, quotes etc…).
* Lead on documentations from shopfitters not to delay approval
* Organise site survey with shopfitters and retailers. Follow up that the drawings are delivered quickly to agency in order to start the design concept on time and on budget.
* Visit where possible the shopfitter mill to snap prior to install (especially tier A doors).
* Attend where possible merch. day and install to issue snag report and follow up to ensure these are addressed in a timely manner.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Bachelor’s degree in related field required: project management in construction, store design
* Understanding of approval processes within brand teams and third parties (retailer landscapes, brand stakeholders).
* Understand architecture jargon to give comprehensive feedback on retailer’s guidelines if these need to be challenged.
* Understanding of production and manufacturing within an FMCG set up.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably in luxury / premium beauty.
* Proficient in excel and reading construction drawings
* Strong organisation and communication skills.
* Must be a team player as all work will be team based, across multiple functions.
