Commercial Manager role:
• Lead and manage the commercial delivery teams and core commercial functions for the CMDP business.
Commercial Manager responsibilities:
• Provide Commercial Management of project and tranche outperformance whilst providing contractual support to the procurement team.
• Contributing to the ongoing development of CMDP's Commercial Strategy for Pre-Works Orders and Construction Phase.
• Leading the Commercial team in the tranche programme.
• Continuous review of commercial resource levels with the Programme Manager to ensure effective and efficient delivery.
• Advise Senior Commercial Manager of Commercial resourcing requirements.
• Support the Senior Commercial Manager in recruiting commercial staff and providing contractual and commercial training to all CMDP employees.
• Support the Senior Commercial Manager in reviewing and continuously developing commercial processes and procedures.
• Approve gates and other processes in line with the CMDP authority matrix.
• Deputise for the Senior Commercial Manager as and when required.
Commercial Manager requirements:
• Professionally qualified to RICS, CMinstCES or several years’ experience in a management and leadership role.
• Experienced user of Microsoft products, Excel in particular.
• Experience and knowledge of IT reporting systems.
