Electrical Shift Team Leader Location: London, CR0 1TY Shift Patten: 4 on 4 off day shift (6am to 6pm) Salary: £45,000 ISS in the UK provides high-quality facilities services to maintain the fabric and appearance of buildings. This new addition to the ISS contract involves a quiet site with a strong working relationship with other tenants in the shopping centre, offering a stable and collaborative working environment. Job Description The Shift Team Leader will be responsible for managing the development and implementation of a planned maintenance regime. This includes overseeing an engineering delivery team, both onsite staff and contractors, to meet the required standards. The role will also include providing reactive response, out-of-hours coverage, and emergency response, ensuring that all services are delivered on time and within budget. You will also play a key role in directly supporting project works when required, ensuring that all activities are completed with attention to detail and the highest standards of service delivery. Key Responsibilities Production of factual reports on the effectiveness of the teams and service as required Establish a clear line of communication to ensure total awareness of site issues, particularly those requiring action across the portfolio Support any project teams, either managed by ISS or by SPD, to ensure seamless integration of change into the portfolio Organise and undertake workplace audits to identify areas of improvement or success for submission in monthly reports Accept and respond to any reasonable requests to perform tasks not specifically contained within this document and carry out reasonable requests within the spirit of the contract Work to achieve a 'Best in Class' approach to Engineering and Fabric services, including those provided through supplier organisations Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Ideally from a Facilities background with experience in PPM and Reactive based work Ideally have team leader experience or have overseen other engineers Electrically biased (18th Edition, C&G or NVQ Electrical Installations) Mechanical qualifications are also acceptable The Company ISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
