P/T Payroll Manager | £36k | 26 days A/L + BH's FTE
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Payroll Manager, working as part of a compassionate team, at an award-winning, Employer of Choice in Canterbury.
In this role, you'll be managing the Payroll for the company of 400 employees (not managing a Payroll team), managing pensions, payroll queries, and service contracts.

Location: Canterbury
Salary: £36,000 gross per annum (FTE)
Duration: Fixed Term (18 months initially)
Hours: This role offers flexible hours between 28 - 35 hours per week (4 to 5 days), Monday to Friday.
Your key responsibilities as Payroll Manager will include:
* Payroll Data Management: Ensure accuracy and integrity of payroll data.
* Pension Administration: Manage the pension schemes with precision.
* Pay-Related Queries: Provide calculations and technical advice on payroll issues.
* Service Management: Oversee our outsourced payroll services and contracts.
* Life Insurance Management: Ensure our Life Insurance schemes are administered effectively.
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
* Proven experience managing a complex payroll function in a similar organisation.
* A strong background in managing external service providers.
* In-depth knowledge of statutory payroll legislation and employer liabilities.
* Familiarity with basic UK employment legislation.
* Exceptional Excel skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
