A major commercial vehicle - truck building and manufacturing company is looking for a business development manager to sell their truck and trailer building and repair services throughout the East of England from the East Midlands upwards. Must be a self starter and have experience of winning new business clients and developing exiting ones. Experience can be as a BDM ineither truck, trailers bodies, plant, agricultural machinery, any capital equipment or similar industry sector, must be B2B sales. ROLE: Business development Manager LOCATION: within 1.5 hours drive from Scunthorpe BASIC SALARY: £30k to £40k BENEFITS: Car allowance £7200, commission, OTE £50k to £60k plus, uncapped, pension etc. ROLE: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the customer base Identify opportunities for the company to grow their new unit sales Develop these opportunities into new unit sales and afterwards, manage the customer relationship Conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers at their site Skills Knowledge of the UK truck and trailer market or other appropriate B2B capital equipment sales such as construction, MHE or agriculture machinery Strong accurate administrative skills Proven experience in sales development and account management IT literate with experience in Salesforce or similar CRM system and Outlook Excellent communication skills Proficient in time management and organisational skills UK car driving license ADZN1_UKTJ
