Our client in Hyde who are a leading supplier in their sector are looking for Production Office Assistant to support the management team with the day-to-day administrative functions, including diary management, maintaining records, and providing general administrative support.
The Job
* Manage systems and programs to ensure the smooth running of the office (ERP systems/Microsoft AX/Microsoft Office Programmes).
* Create product codes and bill of materials and updating these as necessary.
* Create and update work orders as assigned by the Production Planner.
* Update the Production Plan as required when instructed to by the Production Planner/Manager.
* Create Purchase orders for Maintenance and Production.
* Deal with general queries on stock for our Ashton Road / Crossley Road sites when require.
* Produce Production reports and provide cover for the preparation of Planning reports.
* Help communicate factory updates and notices to employees.
* General administration duties.
About you
* Previous experience in an office or administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
* Basic knowledge of office equipment such as copiers, and phone systems.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
