You will be responsible for: Leading the design, development and deployment of software solutions utilizing C#.NET, VB.NET, Amazon Web Services, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Kubernetes, Docker and RDS (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL). Direct the development team, championing best practices, code reviews and continuous improvement. Confidently say “no” when necessary to maintain architectural integrity and align projects with strategic objectives. Establish and enforce coding standards and performance benchmarks to maintain high-quality and scalable software systems. Liaise with the Senior Application Architect providing feedback to and from the teams regarding Architectural decisions. Additional responsibilities include: - Providing 2nd level support for production systems Maintaining CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps - Working in an Agile SCRUM environment About you Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex topics in a tailored manner for the target audience. Adept collaborative expertise, with a track record within multi team organisations. Desire to progress as a software architecture expert and participate in continuous professional development. You have had hands-on experience including but not limited to C#.NET, VB.NET, AWS (SNS, SQS, Lambda, Cognito, DynamoDB, S3, KMS, etc.), Elasticsearch, Grafana, Kubernetes, Docker and relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) Ability to analyse current systems critically and propose appropriate, context sensitive designs. Comfortable taking charge, setting direction and constructively pushing back when necessary. Experience working with both Strategic and Tactical Domain Driven Design is desirable.
