Role Overview
Joining the implementation team, the IFS Technical Architect will play a vital role during a critical time in this early phase of our ERP implementation. They will have the opportunity to contribute to shaping processes and having a significant business impact.
Responsibilities
1. Contribute to the delivery of IFS solutions aligned with business needs, from requirements gathering and technical architecture to development, testing, and deployment.
2. Collaborate with ERP Solution Architect to develop a prioritised backlog of change requests and solutions in IFS to meet business requirements.
3. Review existing technical processes in IFS and propose improvements.
4. Perform 'business as usual' tasks (maintenance and monitoring, data management, user support) alongside project work.
Essential Qualifications
1. BSc degree related to Computer Science or equivalent.
2. 3+ years IFS Cloud experience and a strong technical knowledge of IFS Cloud and associated infrastructure.
3. Data migration and integration experience (e.g., IFS Connect).
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in expressing complex technical concepts effectively.
Desirable Qualifications
1. Certifications in SQL, PL/SQL programming, and Oracle Database will be advantageous.
2. 5+ years IFS experience and IFS Certified.
