We are seeking a Cultural Education Partnerships Officer to play a key role in this vital mission. Funded by Arts Council England as part of a wider Place Partnerships project, this dynamic position offers the chance to work collaboratively with schools, cultural organisations, and community groups, supporting the development of innovative commissions and networks that promote inclusive access to the arts. Based within the University’s Culture and Community Engagement Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative programmes that ignite inspiration among young people and foster meaningful connections within the community. You will also contribute to a dynamic and collaborative project ecosystem, designed to support and nurture cultural and community initiatives, ensuring they flourish and make a lasting impact. What you will do: Lead and develop partnerships across education, arts, and community sectors. Mentor and support creative practitioners to build and deliver cultural education commissions Advocate and embed cultural education into the broader Place Partnerships project Support the expansion of the Luton Creative Teachers’ Network Champion diversity, inclusion, and accessibility in cultural education. What we are looking for: Proven experience in project management and stakeholder engagement. A strong understanding of the role of arts and culture in education. A commitment to collaboration, community engagement, and inclusivity. Experience mentoring and nurturing cultural practitioners to deliver cultural education projects.
