We are seeking a skilled Visualfiles Developer to join our team at VWV on a 12 month contract in Bristol. Your primary objective is to develop, maintain, research, and support the current Visualfiles environment within our firm. You'll bring a wealth of experience and a strong background in developing case management applications.

As the Visualfiles Developer you'll be responsible for the development of Visualfiles within VWV. This will include gathering requirements from end users for new processes or enhancements, documenting these requirements into statements of work, and developing new applications in line with these statements.
Maintenance and administration of Visualfiles is also a key responsibility. This will include liaising with 3rd line support to resolve support calls and building and maintaining a technical library of configurations and know-how for core business systems. Ensuring that crucial know-how is publicly available to all staff through email bulletins and the IT Helpdesk knowledge base is also important.
The role involves working closely with staff to further the adoption and development of Visualfiles within the firm. Regular meetings and briefings with staff are necessary to understand business processes and the uses of systems and applications, highlighting any working practices that can be improved. You'll liaise with the Systems Development Manager to develop solutions, improve system/application adoption, and enhance business processes.
So Who Are We Hoping Will Apply?
The successful candidate will have a wealth of experience in developing legal applications using Visualfiles. Familiarity with other case management systems, such as DPS, is desirable. Experience in developing and maintaining workflows is crucial, with a preference for those with experience in Intapp Flow/Open.
Proficiency in reporting is highly desirable specifically in developing reports using SSRS. Familiarity with MS PowerBI is a plus but not required. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly desirable if in document manipulation and styling.
You'll have strong database skills, including proficiency in T-SQL. Your experience in application installations, configurations, and management, with a strong understanding of full application lifecycles is ideal, as well as your excellent documentation and process mapping skills.
