EC&I Technician (12-Month Contract)
Location: Burghfield Area, UK
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Start Date: Immediate (BPSS clearance acceptable initially)
Eligibility Requirements:
1. Must be eligible for SC clearance (BPSS clearance acceptable initially)
2. Must possess a valid CSCS/ECS card prior to starting
3. Level 3 qualification appropriate to trade
4. Due to the secure nature of the work candidates must have lived & worked in the UK for a minimum of 5 years
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated EC&I Technician to join our clients team for a 12-month contract in the Burghfield area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
5. To participate in the planning and preparation of works including production of RAMS
6. To carry out work in accordance with the work packs and best practice and applicable trade/legal standards
7. To comply with any health and safety requirements of the work pack or work area
8. To report any defects, damage, safety hazards or other problems to their line manager
Qualifications:
9. Level 3 qualification in Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation or related field
10. BS 7671:2008 17th Edition Wiring Regs
11. BS 2391-52 Inspection & Testing
Skills and Experience:
12. Proven experience in EC&I roles
13. Strong technical knowledge of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems
14. Excellent problem-solving skills
15. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
16. Good communication skills
