This role involves:
Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with new and existing customers
Generating new business through customer visits, phone calls and answering web enquiries
Using our customer relationship management system to record customer visits, potential prospects, sales and lost orders
Representing Scot Agri at demonstrations to buyers
Effectively handling customer issues and working to find the best solution
Selling used equipment
Carrying out used equipment reports both in the field and in the depot
Responsibility for quotations, cost build-ups and profitability of deals
Delivering machine installation and familiarisation training on site
Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets (targets are based on machine volume and extended warranty packages sold)
Are you an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual? Do you have a passion for Agriculture?, Experience working in the agriculture industry and knowledge of agricultural machinery
Relevant sales experience (preferred but not essential)
Proactive and conscientious nature
Negotiation skills covering price, costs, delivery, and specifications with buyers (or the desire to learn)
Presentation and demonstration experience
Strong communication skills and a good understanding of the importance of excellent customer service
Good computer skills with Microsoft Office packages and IT systems
