Job summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Advisor to manage and process all payroll-related activities within the organisation. You will ensure the accurate and timely payment of salaries, process statutory payments, court orders, starters, leavers, and changes. You will play a vital role in supporting the payroll team and manager while overseeing pensions administration, preparing both standard and ad-hoc reports, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. If you have a strong understanding of payroll systems (e.g., iTrent, Business Objects) and are passionate about delivering a high-quality payroll service, wed love to hear from you Main duties of the job Manage and process all aspects of payroll, including statutory payments, court orders, starters, leavers, and changes. Ensure the accurate and prompt payment of salaries in accordance with company policies and regulations. Provide support to the payroll team and manager, ensuring smooth operation of payroll activities. Administer pensions in line with statutory requirements and company guidelines. Produce standard and ad-hoc reports using iTrent and Business Objects to provide data analysis and insights. Respond to payroll queries promptly (within a 3-day SLA) Perform manual calculations for holiday pay, redundancy pay, and tax adjustments. Reconcile payroll figures and balance monthly payroll records. Administer end-of-year payroll and pension processes, including processing forms such as P45, P60, and P11D. Process variable hours, mileage, and expenses from other systems into iTrent.
