Business Development Manager
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 + car allowance + OTE of £75K
Location: Nationwide/Hybrid (Middlesborough)
Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be recruiting a Business Development Manager for a leading commercial vehicle solutions business, specialising in conversions and customisations. Given their recent capacity and new offerings, they're on the hunt for an ambitious, driven individual to spearhead new business opportunities. This role will be pivotal in the growth of the utility, construction, and civil engineering sectors.
Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with a background in capital equipment sales? Do you have a strong network within utility, construction, and civil engineering? Do you enjoy prospecting, building, and winning new business?
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Identify and grow new business opportunities, working closely with corporate businesses from a cold start into large fleet using entities with a specific focus on construction, utility, civils.
2. Through extensive industry knowledge, build and nurture relationships resulting in growth of existing business and new accounts.
3. Work cross-functionally with both the wider sales team, aftersales department, and production department to ensure the smooth running of departments and customer satisfaction.
4. Attend industry events, representing the brand and generating leads through a strong networking ability.
Skills and Requirements:
1. A tenacious, driven individual who has a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
2. Strong organisational skills, experienced in having full autonomy of their own diary.
3. A track record of performing in a fast-paced environment.
4. A full driving license is required - this role is field-based.
5. Experience in capital equipment sales, automotive, or knowledge of high-value equipment sales.
