As our Event Facilitator, you'll help us uphold this legacy by ensuring every event reflects our values of Connection, Contribution, and Choice. Based primarily at Cote Lane, you'll manage and grow a range of events, from intimate gatherings to larger functions. Your goal? To deliver exceptional experiences for every client while maintaining a respectful and positive environment for our residents. You'll oversee every aspect of event planning and delivery, including: Managing event bookings, catering, and vendor contracts. Ensuring health and safety standards are met at all times. Acting as the face of St Monica Trust for clients, creating lasting impressions with your professionalism and people skills. Supporting the Village Manager in growing the business potential of our facilities. What we're looking for You'll bring: A proven track record in event planning, with knowledge of catering, dietary requirements, and health and safety regulations. Exceptional communication and client service skills, with the confidence to speak to large groups. Experience in troubleshooting technical equipment (e.g., audio/visual systems) and an eye for detail. Sensitivity and compassion, particularly when supporting more personal events like funerals and wakes. Desirable qualities include budget management experience, hospitality industry knowledge, or a qualification in event planning. Key Results Responsible for the smooth, efficient and cost effective (and profitable, where possible) events planning and delivery at Cote Lane and other sites from time to time. · Relationship building with internal and external stakeholders and clients. · Manage contracts, Service Level Agreements, invoicing and queries relating to event providers and suppliers. · Event booking (including catering) planning duties, instructing the relevant stakeholders and maintaining client focus as priority. · Attend and act as key point of contact at events (where relevant/directed) including overseeing H&S, cleanliness, equipment maintenance and client comfort. · Meet strategic plans and support Village Manager (VM) with growing the business potential of the events facilities and equipment (including full stage, lighting and audio) and other site's spaces. · Some budget management responsibilities under direction of VM. Desirable Experience of budget management. · Experience of setting up, troubleshooting technical equipment (e.g. audio/visuals). · Project or event planning qualification. · Experience of working with older people and those with specialist needs. · H&S and/or COSHH qualification. · Experience gained within the hospitality industry. Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week on a 12 months FTC Salary Ranges: £26,717.60 - £29,793.40
