The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic sales plans, managing a high-performing sales team, and strengthening relationships with key clients. This role requires a visionary leader who can identify new business opportunities, optimise sales processes, and align sales strategies with business objectives.
Job Description
* Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive business growth and market expansion.
* Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
* Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to refine sales strategies.
* Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
* Set and track key sales performance indicators (KPIs) and report on sales metrics.
* Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
* Negotiate and close high-value contracts with customers and distributors.
* Responsibility for UK branches and service centres.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sales practices.
The Successful Applicant
* Experience selling Capital Equipment, Industrial Machinery, Components, Systems, etc is essential
* Experience managing a sales team across the UK
* Experience selling to Construction, Marine, Agriculture, Industrial Cleaning, etc is required for this role
* Good technical ability
* Strong leadership, team management, and motivational skills.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
* Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
