Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Home Manager to lead their Care service in West Sussex. The Care Home consists of 60-bed care facility offering Nursing, Dementia, Residential, and Respite care. You will collaborate with local communities, GPs, and other professionals to build a personalised care environment that genuinely enhances each resident's well-being and independence. Key Responsibilities: Leadership: Lead with authenticity and inspire your team to provide exceptional care. Take full accountability for the day-to-day operations, ensuring the well-being and care of our residents. Empower staff to embrace our client’s core values while fostering a positive and inclusive environment. Cultivate a culture of ongoing quality improvement, in line with clinical governance standards. General Management: Efficiently manage the service’s budget and ensure Key Performance Indicators are met. Ensure the service adheres to all statutory obligations and relevant legislation, including environmental health and health and safety regulations. Support Service Users in managing their financial affairs, when possible, and maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all transactions. If the manager is appointed to handle a Service User’s finances, proper oversight must be ensured. Foster a culture where meaningful activities are integral to the service, with full team involvement in their delivery. Essential Requirements: Oversee the service’s budget, ensuring financial performance meets established Key Performance Indicators. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and legislative requirements, including CQC standards and NMC guidelines. Supervise the financial management of service users, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. Promote a culture of meaningful activities for residents, ensuring their unique needs and preferences are fulfilled.
