Key Responsibilities: Social Media Strategy Implementation: Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to execute a comprehensive social media content strategy for Birmingham City Women’s platforms Take ownership of the Women’s social media channels, focusing on innovative approaches to increase social media impressions Content Creation and Management: Work closely with the Social Media Manager and Blues TV to enhance long-form content for the Club’s YouTube channel, including creating a posting schedule for YouTube Community Continuously explore new methods to reach diverse audiences beyond the typical football fan base Lead the curation of fan-led content for distribution across all channels Tailor content to each platform to maximise engagement, attract new audiences, and grow the existing following Capture high-quality content frequently, collaborating with the video and content teams to maintain world-class production standards Trend Monitoring and Innovation: Stay updated on emerging trends in the social media space to ensure Birmingham City FC remains a leader in the field Implement a consistent tone of voice that aligns with the Club’s values and current social media strategy Monetisation and Campaigns: Consider monetisation strategies for all channels to maximise revenue for the department and Club Join the wider Marketing team to conceptualise and execute key campaigns from inception to publication Relationship Building and Commercial Opportunities: Develop strong relationships with players and staff to facilitate smooth and efficient workflows Explore additional commercial opportunities through sponsored social content Reporting and Analysis: Regularly report on social media KPIs, highlighting growth areas and using data to inform content decisions Utilise social media apps that aid in on-the-go content creation What we're looking for in you: Proficiency in the content creation process, scheduling, and monetisation Demonstrated creativity, flair, and innovation on social media channels Strong attention to detail and a unique perspective on traditional content approaches Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and preferred social media tools Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Statement: Birmingham City FC is committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
