Would you like to take on a high-impact role where your IT service management knowledge and contract management experience ensure the smooth operation of critical IT infrastructure?
NHS Shared Business Services are looking for a Contract Manager to work within the Innovation and Technology Solutions team, providing one or more business services to our NHS end customers. You will be responsible for meeting customer and organisation expectations and contractual obligations, within timescales, costs, resource utilisation, and service levels.

You will spend 2 days working in our modern collaborative office in Salford and 3 days working from home. There will also be occasional travel to our client sites.
What you will be doing:
1. Planning, scheduling, and coordinating the defined business services, delivering to agreed timescales, budget, acceptance criteria, quality criteria, and contractual commitments.
2. Reporting and raising service issues in an appropriate and timely fashion and initiating swift corrective action where required.
3. Dealing with enquiries from customers related to the results/performance of the business service for which the manager is responsible.
4. Assisting customers to develop business processes in support of new products and services, or in response to systems changes.
5. Taking part in projects, providing support to working parties and advice on developments in the relevant service lines managed.
What you will bring:
1. Experience of leading all aspects of service delivery. This will include service definition, service level management, reporting, audits, and change control (with both customers and suppliers).
2. Skilled in identifying continuous improvement opportunities and contributing to projects using established methodologies such as LEAN and Six Sigma.
3. Leads by example in identifying and managing business risks and issues, fostering a culture of accountability and open communication to ensure timely and effective reporting across the team.
4. Staying ahead of client developments which may have an impact on the business services provided.
5. Managing, coaching, and mentoring a large team.

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
