We are looking for an experienced leader with a clinical background in Neurophysiology, you will be an enthusiastic, organised person who is well motivated and has proven technical and communication skills and a zest for providing excellence. The department is a busy, friendly team of staff who provide a Neurophysiology service across Lancashire and South Cumbria. Main duties of the job You will be responsible for leading the Neurophysiology service and is expected to have excellent leadership qualities and be able to manage implementation of change effectively. You will be involved in the planning and future development of the service and will have a strong understanding of the effective and efficient use of resources. Most importantly, we require a proven track record in service delivery and improvement that is focused on patient safety, patient experience and excellent clinical outcomes. You will be able to perform the full range of Neurophysiological investigations and will have experience in performing and reporting Peripheral Nerve Conduction studies as we continue to extend the technician role. You will have overall responsibility for managing the service and will work closely with the Consultant Neurophysiologists and the Highly Specialist Clinical Physiologists to provide a high quality service The job is based at the Preston hospitals but a need to work at other hospitals is a possibility.
