Castell Howell Foods is Wales’ leading independent food service wholesaler, servicing the length and breadth of Wales, the Border Counties and the South West of England. We currently have a vacancy for a Public Sector & Key Accounts Finance Administrator based at Cross Hands.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced finance team, working closely with public sector and key accounts, as well as internal teams. The position is ideal for someone with a strong background in finance administration, including elements of credit control. The role requires excellent communication skills along with a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
The Company operates a specialist food wholesale ERP system for which you will be given full training. You should also have a good level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Duties will include:
1. Manage payments for Public Sector and Key Accounts
2. Reconcile and maintain public sector purchasing cards
3. Compile and verify the monthly direct debit file
4. Review Aged Debtor Balance Reports and investigate outstanding payments
5. Communicate customer changes to relevant departments
6. Address and resolve customer queries
7. Keep customer records up to date
8. Any related administrative and finance tasks as required.
