Regional General Manager, Salary: c£90-110k + car allowance + benefits including private medical & pension, multi-site regional role with travel.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional General Manager to join a leading organisation. We are keen to hear from candidates with experience in a multi-site General Manager / Regional Director or similar role from within manufacturing, engineering, distribution or Trade depot operations.
This position requires a dynamic leader, proficient in guaranteeing the smooth running of the operations in the region and spearheading significant growth. We are looking for a candidate with robust commercial acumen, who can actively put strategies into action, engage in process transformations and surpass customer expectations. You will lead with a profound commitment to safety and adherence to ESG standards.
The role:
1. Regional Performance Management: You'll have end-to-end responsibility for the region's P&L, guaranteeing a balanced scorecard for sales and operations.
2. Steer the strategic direction for the region, demonstrating excellent commercial awareness and foresight to spot growth opportunities, monitor market trends and adapt strategies as necessary.
3. Deliver operational excellence, championing continuous improvement, driving efficiency and instigating change where necessary.
4. Ensure key accounts are managed effectively, building relationships, exceeding customer expectations and achieving exceptional levels of customer service.
5. People Development: create a positive working environment, leading people development and talent management initiatives across the region, creating opportunities for growth and development.
6. Act as an agent of change, driving transformational shifts in service quality, cost, delivery, management, and safety.
7. Safety Leadership: ensure the highest safety standards are maintained.
About you:
1. Experience in a multi-site Regional General Manager / Regional Director or similar role from within manufacturing, engineering, distribution or Trade depot operations.
2. A proven track record of delivering operational excellence and spearheading significant commercial growth.
3. Proficiency in P&L management, including budgeting and financial reporting.
4. A people leader, who is passionate about developing people and creating a high-performance culture.
