Job Title EU Rates Business Controls Unit and Global CPM Business Management & Control (BM&C) Location London Corporate Title Vice President Deutsche Bank's Rates business leads with scale and strength in providing solutions to institutional and corporate clients globally. Our product range includes fixed income securities, exchange traded funds and derivatives in interest rates, long dated FX, multi-asset correlation products and commodities. Counterparty Portfolio Management (CPM) is non-profit generating unit and manages the counterparty risk on uncollateralised OTC derivatives, protects against default loss for designated counterparties while executing capital optimization strategies. The role is to join Rates and CPM Front Office Business Management and Controls (BMC), responsible for the effective management and oversight of the risk and control environment for EU Rates and Global CPM as part of wider Rates BMC function. We have implemented a Hybrid Working Model that enables eligible employees to work remotely for a part of their working time and reach a working pattern You can expect: Competitive salary and non-contributory pension 30 days' holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase additional days Life Assurance and Private Healthcare for you and your family A range of flexible benefits including Retail Discounts, a Bike4Work scheme and Gym benefits The opportunity to support a wide ranging CSR programme 2 days' volunteering leave per year Your key responsibilities Liaison for Audit, Compliance and Regulatory reviews including coordination of meetings and delivery of audit finding closure materials and self-identification of issues Oversee business control environment and execute non-financial risk (NFR) frameworks across EU Rates and Global CPM, including running key Rates and CPM governance forums Shape, develop and implement CPM business strategy, governance and controls including identifying and understanding control gaps and developing and executing remediation plans Financial planning and cost management including analysis and forecasting Evaluating business MI, making independent decisions, implementing changes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and policies Building and maintaining strong partnerships with stakeholders across Trading, Sales & Structuring and Infrastructure and play a key controls advisory role with Trading Your skills and experience Investment Banking experience, preferably within Front Office and with exposure Compliance, Non-Financial Risk, and Audit functions. Prior experience to effectively liaise with Trading and supporting functions to plan and co-ordinate across multiple stakeholders. Solid experience engaging with third parties on audits, self-identification of key risks and issues, formulating action plans, ability to independently remediate audit findings. Specific knowledge of non-financial risks associated with Rates and CPM.
