As an Inclusion Support Assistant, you will be working alongside pupils with complex behavioural needs who require some additional guidance from a positive and assertive role model! You will support with their everyday routine and keep them engaged and motivated to learn in the classroom. This is a full-time, long-term post, starting ASAP.
This is an ideal position for a Psychology/Criminology graduate who is seeking first-hand experience before pursuing a career as a Prison Liaison Officer, Therapist, Counsellor, Youth Mentor, amongst others.

Inclusion Support Assistant - Job role:
1. Supporting children with a range of SEN to keep them engaged in the classroom
2. Encourage the development of the students' social skills
3. Work within the classroom and in smaller groups to accommodate needs
4. Support and comply with the school's safeguarding procedures
5. Full-time, long-term position starting ASAP
6. Located in the Borough of Wandsworth
Inclusion Support Assistant - Candidate Specification:
1. A 2:1 or a First-class degree from a reputable University
2. Genuine interest in working with SEN
3. Excellent communication skills and willingness to adapt
4. Experience in a previous role, or personal experience in SEN is desirable
5. Calm and compassionate nature
