What you will do
As a Site Supervisor, you will oversee the installation, servicing, testing, and commissioning of Automatic Sprinkler and Gas Suppression systems to the highest standards. Your role involves ensuring exceptional customer service, managing resources efficiently, and staying within budget.
You will report to the Project Manager and coordinate Fire Suppression installation activities across multiple sites, driving efficiency in installations and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role also includes customer coordination and monitoring EHS on site. You’ll work across both Install and Service sectors to drive operational improvements, covering Automatic Fire Sprinkler Systems and Gas Fire Suppression.
How you will do it
* Supervise specialist/subcontractor and commissioning teams to ensure site activities are progressing in line with contractual requirements and industry standards.
* Promote Zero Harm safe working practices and ensure safe working environments, reducing risks of injury, property damage, and waste.
* Implement procedures for executing work, briefing teams effectively, and ensuring best practices are followed.
* Conduct regular safety and quality audits to ensure equipment is used properly and safely.
* Monitor the health and safety of site staff and subcontractors, ensuring full compliance with legislation.
* Ensure operational efficiency and productivity, maintaining a professional image and cost-effective processes.
* Provide excellent customer service to meet both internal and external customer expectations, building strong relationships.
* Service, test, and install pipework/systems, following relevant service standards, fabrication drawings, and customer instructions.
* Complete necessary reports and certificates, including work reports, handover certificates, and pressure test certificates.
What we look for
* Experience in a customer-facing role with a proven track record of success.
* Preferably time-served within a technical environment, such as Fire Sprinkler Systems or Gas Suppression.
* Strong industry knowledge through recognised apprenticeship or similar qualifications.
* Familiarity with British Standard BSEN12845 and Factory Mutual regulations.
* A full clean driving licence (preferred).
* LPCB Module 1 and Module 2 Qualifications (preferred).
