They are now looking for a Deputy Manager to join their team on a full-time basis for a fixed term contract until 31st October 2024 with the possibility of extension. So, if you’re ready to advance your career and join the team, our client would love to hear from you The Role As a Deputy Manager, you will support the development of new schemes in our client’s Play and Youth Clubs’ calendar. Overseeing summer play and youth schemes, you will explore opportunities for new venues or activities that would enable them to meet more families’ needs. You will also supervise support workers and staff, ensuring they are confident in assessing risk, children and young people’s needs and have the resources on site to perform their role. Additionally, you will: - Ensure records are kept up to date and filed correctly - Support the management of resources and rotas - Liaise with venue premises managers/caretakers - Ensure premises are left in a standard of cleanliness after use - Contribute to the collection of data and feedback from staff and families Please note, due to our client’s open and collaborative working environment and the nature of their work with children and adults with disabilities, all office-based roles can experience periods of elevated noise levels and some elements of disruption.
