We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join our team in Leeds, working full-time in a dynamic secondary school setting. If you have a love for teaching and a commitment to student success, this could be the perfect role for you!
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in a relevant Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
2. Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 levels.
3. A passion for education and a commitment to the academic and personal development of students.
4. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students.
5. An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
Key Responsibilities:
6. Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Science (Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics) to students aged 11-16.
7. Plan, prepare, and assess student's work to ensure consistent progress and achievement.
8. Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment, catering to students of different abilities.
9. Foster a love of learning and scientific curiosity in your students.
10. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings, contributing to curriculum development.
11. Manage classroom behaviour and ensure the safety and welfare of all students.
