Specialist Nurse for Safeguarding Adults
Are you a health or social care professional with a passion for Safeguarding Adults?
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Nurse, allied health professional, or social worker to join our Safeguarding Adults Team at SASH NHS Healthcare Trust.
The successful candidate will assist the Named and Lead Nurses for Safeguarding Adults on an operational basis, covering safeguarding, mental capacity act compliance, and deprivation of liberties.
As a first point of contact, you will give a high-quality safeguarding adults service providing advice, support, guidance, and education to the multidisciplinary teams within SASH NHS Trust and working in close partnership with wider external agencies to bring the safest and best outcome to our patients who are at risk of, or who have suffered harm, abuse, or neglect and have care and support needs and are unable to protect themselves.
This is a development role, and whilst a good level of knowledge is expected of Safeguarding Adults and Mental Capacity Legislation, training and learning opportunities will be provided.
