If you're passionate about making a difference and ensuring adherence to all supply chain processes, we want you on our team The opportunity EDF is looking for a Senior Supply Chain professional to develop and implement governance, oversight, and compliance arrangements across Nuclear Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for improving supply chain processes and performance by providing guidance and support to the Nuclear Operations business. As part of the Supply Chain Business Improvement and Governance Team, you will help maintain and provide best-in-class standards, processes, oversight, and support. You will set and oversee nuclear supply chain standards to ensure transparency, accountability, insight, and effective decision-making. Additionally, you will continuously challenge and improve our arrangements through a structured approach to business improvement. This role is based at our Gloucester Business Park office, with a hybrid working model of 2 – 3 days in the office and occasional travel to our fleet of nuclear power stations. What you’ll be doing In this role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of the Nuclear Operations Supply Chain Governance & Business Improvement Strategy. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and promoting functional improvement activities, as well as coordinating the identification and sharing of best practices across the fleet. You will influence and communicate with key stakeholders across the Nuclear Operations business, leading and participating in fleet-wide peer groups. Additionally, you will lead supply chain-related business improvement projects and organize and deliver supply chain-related training and development. Your role will involve identifying industry best practices in supply chain processes and replicating them within the Nuclear Operations fleet. You will provide guidance on the effective use of supply chain processes across the business and participate in benchmarking activities to identify and share best practices that can elevate nuclear generation to a "world-class" standard. You will also develop and produce supply chain governance and improvement reports, ensuring governance is applied throughout all aspects of the supply chain processes to achieve safety, quality, and commercial objectives. Furthermore, you will interact with and contribute to EDF Energy-wide supply chain-related matters. Who you are For this role, you’ll ideally hold a degree or HNC in a relevant subject and experience within a Supply Chain related role with as good knowledge of processes, preferably within with the nuclear or regulated industry. You’ll have good project management, coordination and facilitation skills, with an awareness of latest supply chain practices. You’ll be able to influence and manage stakeholders, build relationships and promote good effective teamwork. You’ll be someone that runs towards hard problems with great teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
