We are recruiting on behalf of our client within the Dudley area, who has urgent requirements for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team!
This is a full-time (on-site) role for a Maintenance Engineer and will be in Dudley. The time served Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with equipment maintenance, maintenance engineering, maintenance & repair, preventive maintenance, and electrical maintenance plus much more.
Requirements:
1. The applicant should be fully conversant with all aspects of engineering, will have a good working knowledge of 3 phase electrical control systems to include contactor, inverter circuits, Motors, and Safety circuits.
2. The ideal candidate must have experience with Slitting and Decoiling and must be able to work unsupervised or as part of a team.
Qualifications/Experience/Interests:
1. Experience in equipment maintenance, planned preventive maintenance (PPM), and maintenance & repair.
2. Expertise in maintenance engineering and electrical maintenance.
3. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics.
4. Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
5. Experience with welding and fabrication.
6. Sub assembly work.
7. MIG/MAG/Arc welding.
8. Oxy Fuel.
9. Health & Safety (H&S).
10. Electrics.
11. Experience or in-depth knowledge of Machining, Lathe/Milling/Grinding.
12. 17/18 Electrical Edition/AM2/AM2S.
13. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
14. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
