About our opportunity
Our Head office based in Huntingdon, Cambs is looking for a Payroll Assistant to join our team in an office-based role. You will be part of our Payroll team delivering and processing the weekly payroll of our temporary workers.
Typical duties include:
* Processing the weekly payroll
* Coordinating pension administration, auto-enrolment, and interfacing with pension providers
* Processing tax codes
* Calculating holiday
* Processing statutory payments (sick, maternity, paternity payments)
* Answering employee queries
Who we are looking for:
With a friendly, approachable style, you will have:
* Experience in payroll processing
* The ability to contribute to process improvement initiatives
* A sound knowledge of current payroll legislation
* Excellent attention to detail and personal organization
* Proven customer service skills
* Excellent working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft products
* A “can do” positive attitude
* An understanding of GDPR & Data Protection requirements in the workplace
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday: 08.30 - 17.30 (1 hour lunch)
