Summary:
Our client is a fast growing, UK based financial services provider offering a broad portfolio of funding solutions to businesses, including Asset Finance, Invoice Finance, Loans, Vehicle Finance, and Asset Based Lending. With offices in Bath, Manchester, Warrington, and Reading, the company supports over 10,000 UK SMEs and manages a lending book more than £200 million.
The Head of Operations will report directly to the Managing Director and take a leading role in driving operational performance across the division. The role involves managing multi-site teams, overseeing system improvements, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the delivery of excellent customer outcomes. This is a key strategic position focused on enhancing operational efficiency and supporting continued business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with the Asset Finance leadership team to meet strategic growth and performance goals.
Lead and develop the Sales Support and Pay outs teams across the Warrington and Bath offices.
Design and implement structured training and development plans to support team performance.
Foster a culture of efficiency, advocacy, and customer-centric service.
Ensure robust compliance with relevant regulations and internal governance frameworks.
Partner with internal teams to drive system and process improvements, optimising the broker, vendor, and supplier experience.
Maintain a strong understanding of internal credit policies and support credit process alignment with business goals.
Essential Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in a middle or senior management role within the Asset Finance sector.
Extensive experience (5+ years) in Hard Asset funding.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Qualifications:
Degree-level education preferred, or equivalent experience or role-based qualifications.
