Step Teachers are working with a Primary school in Launceston that strives to create a safe and happy learning community where everyone is supported and motivated to reach their full potential. They provide a curriculum framework which offers exciting and meaningful learning opportunities. This school is looking for a Year 5 Supply Teacher to join their team from January 2025 for 3 days per week, Mon-Wed. The Year 5 Teacher will be supporting a class of well-behaved and enthusiastic Primary level pupils. The Year 5 Teacher should be passionate and ready to engage with their students, contributing to the school's polite, friendly and safe educational atmosphere.
Year 5 Teacher - Role:
* Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
* The Year 5 Teacher should be able to maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
* Work effectively with other members of staff throughout the school.
* Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
* The Year 5 Teacher should be compliant with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.
Year 5 Teacher - Requirements:
* Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
* Have recent experience as a Year 5 Teacher – Key Stage 2.
* Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
