M&E Shift Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £45,000 + £2500 annual bonus
Location: Knightsbridge
Our Client is looking for an M&E Shift Maintenance Engineer based at a Luxurious Residential Complex located in Knightsbridge. The successful candidate will be Electrically or Mechanically biased with a proven track record in Commercial and Residential Building Maintenance, ideally within High End Residential. Working with the maintenance team on site, you will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance within the complex. In return, the company offers a competitive salary of up to £45,000, a £2500 bonus, overtime, further training, and career progression.

Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with the company’s PPM and task schedules as directed by the site supervisor.
* Undertake PPM activities in a professional & safe manner.
* Perform reactive maintenance works as directed by the Help Desk and/or Management Team.
* Produce technical and situational reports as required.
* Communicate clearly and effectively with the client’s team and support the Site Supervisor as necessary.
* Ensure company QA and site procedures are adhered to in all aspects.
* Assist the site supervisor to produce quotations by providing accurate and good quality information when extra works are identified.
* Update/close completed Reactive & PPM tasks on the site CAFM System.
* Maintain engineering standards to maximise efficient operation and reliability of plant and associated systems.
* Ensure that both Client and contractors' Health & Safety procedures are always followed.
* Attend team meetings/briefings as requested.
* Provide accurate timesheet information weekly and on time.
* Work proactively towards the continued success of the business with a positive approach.
* Escalate any major site issues or incidents to the site supervisor as soon as identified.
* Manage sub-contractors while working on site.
* Respond to Building Management System alarms and effect emergency repairs as needed.
* Issue and ensure appropriate controls within the Permit to Work Systems.
* Deputise in the absence of the Shift Leader.
Requirements:
* City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 (Mechanical & Electrical installation) or recognised equivalent.
* 17th or 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) Registration or recognised equivalent.
* Approved apprenticeship or appropriate experience within Building Services.
* Experience in Electrical Installation including Electrical Testing & Inspection.
* L8 Training and a good understanding of domestic water systems.
* Two years’ experience gained within a multi-discipline hard services environment.
* A good working knowledge of trades such as plumbing, HVAC systems, controls, and refrigeration.
* Sound mechanical and electrical knowledge.
* Experience in managing PPM management systems.
* Experience in fault diagnosis and rectification.
* Two years’ experience gained within a multi-discipline hard services environment within high-end commercial/mixed developments.
